Gone are the days when eating meat-free is difficult because 7-Eleven, the largest convenience store chain in the Philippines, has partnered with unMEAT, a fast-growing plant-based food alternative company, and launched their 100% meat-free menu.
There are currently two plant-based options from their unMEAT line: the unMEAT Burger and Burger Steak Rice Meal, all made with 100% plant-based and vegan patties that look, taste, and feel like real meat. It contains 0 trans fat, is low in fat, and is cholesterol-free!
The unMEAT Burger is made with unMEAT’s 100% vegan patties, locally sourced fresh lettuce, cheese, and is sandwiched in between two buttery brioche buns. It’s packed with all the flavor and goodness of your traditional burger, minus the bad from the meat. Price starts at ₱89.
The Burger Steak Rice Meal is also made with unMEAT’s 100% hefty vegan patties, topped with classic gravy with mushrooms, all on a bed of white rice for only ₱99.
While the unMEAT burger patties are 100% vegan, the buns, cheese, gravy, and sauces are only vegetarian-friendly.
The unBELIEVABLY tasty and meat-free options are available in 1,900 7-Eleven outlets nationwide. Now, going meat-free has definitely never been this easy!
