There’s no reason to resist those sugar cravings.

How often have we been made to feel guilty about indulging our sweet tooths? Despite what you may have heard, desserts can actually benefit your health. Not only can it provide you with the nutrients your body needs (there’s a reason why you crave certain desserts!), it’s also good for the soul.

Even though you get that confectionary craving once in a while, you’re still on the right track, baby, you were just born with a sweet tooth. After all, there’s nothing about restriction and deprivation that leads to long-term sustainable and healthy eating habits.

Check Out: 23 Healthy Restaurants in Metro Manila with Dishes Everyone Will Enjoy!

And just to be clear, eating dessert doesn’t mean you have little to no self-control. It just means you have a good sense of what you want (and sometimes it just happens to be a fat piece of cake!) and that you’re capable of honoring what your body needs.

Here, we put together a list where you can find the perfect balance of sweet and healthy desserts in these restaurants around the metro. Because eating healthy doesn’t just mean eating a ton of vegetables.
