Colette’s Buko Pie

Colette’s Buko Pie has a branch at Congressional Ave. Extension, Quezon City. Aside from the original buko pie, other flavors are available too like pineapple, buko pandan, buko pinya, and buko langka. Each pie is guaranteed freshly-baked with just the right amount of sweetness.

Rowena’s Tart

You don’t have to travel all the way to Tagaytay just to get a box of Rowena’s famous tarts. They are arguably the most popular pasalubong center in the area with three branches, 20 years of service, and hundreds of thousands of boxed treats sold throughout decades.

The shop owner, Rowena, started as a humble housewife with a passion for business and food. Her company eventually grew to the pasalubong shop we know today. You can read her full story here.

Mika’san Choco Flakes

Once you take a piece of Mika’san’s choco flakes, you won’t be able to stop! They are these delicious and crunchy cornflakes coated in milk chocolate and white chocolate, packed in plastic jars with green and yellow packaging. It has become a part of the City of Pines produced by Mika’san Sweetshop.

Grab a taste of Bacolod without even leaving your doorstep through Bong-Bong’s bread and baked treats. Originating from the City of Smiles, their piaya will surely brighten your day and put a smile to your face.

The brand is owned by Reynaldo “Bongbong” Villan, a local baker and businessman back in 1981. He hit it off come 1984 when he decided to pursue his home-based piaya business. About 37 years later, Bong-Bong’s is now widely recognized as one of the leading pasalubong brands in the country.

Ilocos Chichacorn
