Starting with a multi-awarded zi char eatery.

Currently, with the loosening of restrictions, people have been revenge traveling to make up for the missed experiences brought about by the pandemic. However, for those on a budget or who prefer to stay in the Philippines for the time being, their form of revenge traveling is eating authentic dishes of the cuisine of the countries they want to go to.

If Singapore cuisine has been on your bucket list for a while now and you’re looking for a restaurant or stall to enjoy their dishes, why not head on to The Grid Food Market this weekend?

In partnership with Singapore Tourism Board, The Grid Food Market has a month-long Singapore food festival starting with Keng Eng Kee or KEK Seafood, a well-loved zi char eatery featured on the Michelin Guide and was patronized by Anthony Bourdain.

Fun fact: Zi char, a Hokkien expression that translates to "cook and fry", describes home-cooked Chinese food, meant for sharing.

This weekend, they’ll be offering their best-selling dishes available in limited quantities for lunch and dinner, dine-in and takeout, from September 2 until September 4 only at Stall 16. Check below for the dishes they’ll be serving.
