Plus other flavors that would surely make you say “Proud to be Pinoy!”
If you’re on the lookout for something sweet, chewy, and refreshing this summer season, milk tea drinks are the obvious choice. One milk tea shop stands out among the rest with its flavors and nationalistic theme.
Introducing Kahatea, the first fully Filipino-themed milktea brand in the country. They launched just last year and since then they have been releasing unique flavors that celebrate the Filipino culture in every possible way.

Their milk tea cups even have alibata (ancient Filipino script) which matches their logo which looks like a pair of salakots or traditional Filipino hats. Some of their creations are even named after places here in the Philippines like Cebu, Quezon, and Pampanga.
Kahatea has a lot of standout flavors to choose from. For those who like it custardy and creamy, their Leche Flan Milk Tea is the perfect pick.
They also have a flavor called Baguio which is basically ube, inspired from the Good Shepherd’s popular ube jam.
For chocolate lovers, Kahatea’s Alfonso Milk Tea is a must-try. It features Alfonso, Cavite’s sweet and bitter tablea chocolates in every sip.
Their most unique creation would have to be the Iskrambol Milk Tea, which Kahatea claims is one-of-a-kind and is one of their proudly-made original flavors. This childhood treat never misses, even as a milk tea drink!
They are available for dine in, takeout, and delivery via FoodPanda.
