Calling all Thai milk tea lovers!

Every country has a certain way they enjoy their tea. Take Hong Kong milk tea for example which is a mix of Ceylon tea, black tea, and milk; or masala chai from India which is a mix of black tea, milk, and aromatic herbs and spices. For Thailand, their specialty which is Thai tea made with Thai tea – black tea with spices like star anise, tamarind, cardamom, and others – sugar, and sweetened condensed milk all served over ice, has actually made its way here to the metro a few years ago.

And although there are milk tea spots that offer this variant of tea, nothing compares to the one made by brands that popularized the drink. So, if you’re a Thai tea lover and you want a taste of one of the most authentic Thai tea drinks in the world, instead of heading to Bangkok, you can opt to head to the famous Chatramue. If you haven’t gone to their first branch at SM Mall of Asia, good news! They’ve opened a new branch at Ayala Malls Trinoma.

Who is Chatramue?

Opened in 1945, Chatramue actually began because the owners wanted to meet the needs of the Thai people which at that time was Thai Milk Tea and Thai Black Tea served with ice. From then on, the rest is history.

They have not only continued to serve the drinks that give them their fame but they have also expanded and included new products such as green tea, milk green tea, rose tea, and more to cater to more international palates. Aside from that, they have also opened branches in other countries for more people to enjoy.
