It’s StrEAT 2.0!

Commonwealth neighborhood, are you ready for StrEAT 2.0?

StrEAT: Maginhawa Food Park is one of the pioneers of the modern day food park in Metro Manila. It opened in 2015 and it only took a short while before a few others started marching with them. These food parks feature and aim to support local food startups and offer an affordable and permanent home to them.

Update: Check out the Top 10 Most Loved Restaurants in Quezon City this month!

For the team behind StrEAT, tomorrow, April 26, marks a new beginning and a big step to reaching more foodies in Quezon City. Commonwealth is still considered untouched compared to its neighboring hubs like UP Teacher’s Village or Katipunan, so we can only imagine the excitement of the people living in the area with this news.

StrEAT: Commonwealth Food Park

There will be 9 food containers divided into the East and West side, and 2 food trucks. The roster of vendors feature a mix of cuisine such as Thai, Korean, Mexican and more. Aside from Schmidt’s Gourmet Hotdogs, and 2 from Boxpark Congressional Food Park, the rest of the concept stalls will be new.

Barrel Smoker

Barrel Smoker is a new-aged barbecue place specializing in barrel-smoked ribs. It’s concept was inspired from the ugly smoke drum way of cooking meats in the US. The secret to their tasty smoked meats is their dry rub mix that seals in all the spices in every bite. Bestsellers: Smoked Riblets (P180) and the Smoked Peri-Peri Chicken (P165).
