No need to fly to Cebu soon!

The “best pig… ever”, according to Anthony Bourdain, has finally landed in Manila.


Zubuchon, one of the most famous lechon in Cebu, was started by one Joel Binamira, who is a management consultant and the man behind the Market Manila blog.

Fun Fact: Zubuchon is a combination of "Zubu", which is name of Cebu in old Spanish and Portugese maps) + "Chon" for lechon.

We first saw a post from Joel Binamira (@therealmarketman) on Instagram, saying:

"Our Manila menus have just arrived from the printers, the stainless steel is being installed and the work site is crazed!! #zubuchon #wishusluck #marketmanila"

We went wild and scoured the internet for its location and we found it!

The first Zubuchon branch will be located at
148 Yakal corner Talisay St., San Antonio, Makati

As of this writing, the poster may already have been taken down to keep the secret a little longer.
