In case you haven’t heard yet, there’s a new Japanese franchise that just opened in BGC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Chao Chao Gyoza from Osaka opened its first branch in BGC last March 19 introducing\u00a0its famous block gyoza to Manila.\u00a0When a “two-time winner of best gyoza in Japan”<\/strong> is attached to a\u00a0restaurant name, expectations rise.<\/p>\n

From a mere 14-seater shop back in 1999, Chao Chao, led by owner Kengo Nishi<\/strong>, is now spread out\u00a0all over Japan with a franchise in Hong Kong and now the Philippines.<\/p>\n

Uniquely, Chao Chao serves their award-winning Original Gyoza<\/strong> by the block, which comes in eight pieces of dumplings<\/strong> filled with pork and cabbage.<\/p>\n

The gyoza blocks are cooked\u00a0using a\u00a0special procedure on\u00a0a griddle for five to six minutes.<\/p>\n
