For the last 26 years, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines<\/a> has been celebrating\u00a0the tradition of its famous Soir\u00e9e Beaujolais<\/strong> to welcome the new harvest and arrival of the young wine, Beaujolais Nouveau<\/strong>. Every November,\u00a065 million bottles\u00a0<\/strong>of fine wine\u00a0produced in the Beaujolais vineyard is shipped from France to the Philippines by\u00a0Ferraud et Fils to pay tribute one of the most popular rituals in the world: the uncorking of the\u00a0Beaujolais Nouveau<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the FCCIP’s website<\/a>: “Beaujolais, situated in the southern part of France, is known for light red wines made from Gamay grapes.”<\/em><\/p>\n

This year, key influencers in the local food industry will be joining forces to make the most out of this prestigious event namely, celebrity restaurateur Erwan Heussaff<\/strong>\u00a0of the Mothership group, actress\/endorser Solenn Heussaff<\/strong>, and more emerging local artists will attend the said event to raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan at the glamorous Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel<\/strong>. A silent auction of Solenn’s and other artists’ works will be held at the event that’s made possible by the\u00a0France-Philippines United Action<\/a> (FPUA) foundation. The proceeds will also help complete\u00a0of\u00a0the foundation’s third disaster-resilient village in Bogo City, Cebu.<\/p>\n
