Lord of the Ribs <\/strong>is one of the newest restaurants in Banilad,<\/strong> Cebu<\/strong>. It is owned by a group of young entrepreneurs and specializes in ribs<\/strong> and other grilled meats.<\/p>\n

Booky Tip<\/strong>: <\/strong>You get your money’s worth here because an order of their rack of ribs, that’s good for two, costs only P335<\/strong>! It comes with curry rice and their signature white sauce.<\/p>\n

They started out as a food stall<\/strong> at the Sugbo Mercado Weekend Market <\/strong>where their bestselling Pork Rib <\/strong>n’ Rice <\/strong>(shredded smoked pork on a bed of curry rice, special white sauce) became the talk of the town.<\/p>\n

Insider Fact: <\/strong>Most of the time they're sold out as early as 8 pm! (the market starts at 5 pm).<\/pre>\n

They recently opened their first branch <\/strong>across Bright Academy school and introduced some new dishes<\/strong> to their menu. Aside from their huge rack of ribs<\/strong>, LOTR also offers Peri-Peri Chicken <\/strong>(South African grilled chicken, chili con carne, curry rice), the Tres Layered Quesadillas <\/strong>(chili con carne, smoked pork ribs, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese), and Potato Shells <\/strong>(smoked pork ribs, bacon bits, cheese).<\/p>\n

They’ve only recently opened their doors to the public last May and is still on soft opening<\/strong>. No news yet on whether they plan on opening a branch in Manila but we’re keeping our fingers crossed!<\/p>\n
