Maybe this nostalgic feeling comes from the history of the place\u2013 the owners built their restaurant in what was once a post-WWII era residence. The owner of this house on Scout Lozano street was none other than Lola Victoria, the matriarch of the Sanvictores family, and the very same Lola for whom the cafe was named.<\/p>\n The family made a promise to honor their Lola Victoria in the same way that our own grandmothers had shown their care and affection for us when we were growing up\u2014 with food. And trust us, you can really taste the love with every bite.<\/p>\n The food coming out of L\u014dLa’s kitchen is nothing short of amazing. They’ve reinvented Filipino comfort food, putting imaginative twists to classic dishes while using only locally-sourced ingredients and freshly procured market products, so you’re assured of quality and value for money.<\/p>\n Despite the progressive approach to food, L\u014dLa still feels like home. Recent renovations have helped to amplify the overall feeling of warmth, hospitality, and togetherness<\/strong> when one dines here.
