Now you know! <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/UCuihHFMbJFXa\/giphy.gif\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption>Image from GIPHY<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Baking is the new activity for many these days so if you&#8217;re feeling adventurous, try out this recipe that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/magnoliabakery\/\">Magnolia Bakery<\/a> released just a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/magnoliabakery\/\">Classic Vanilla Cupcake with Vanilla Buttercream<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"688\" src=\"https:\/\/sih.booky.ph\/eyJrZXkiOiJibG9nXC93cC1jb250ZW50XC91cGxvYWRzXC8yMDIwXC8wNlwvMDgxNDM5NDRcL20tYmFrZXJ5LmpwZyIsImJ1Y2tldCI6ImJvb2t5cmVwb3J0In0=\" alt=\"vanilla-buttercream-cupcakes\" class=\"wp-image-157919\" decoding=\"async\"><figcaption>Photo from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mbakeryph\/\">Facebook<\/a> | mbakeryph<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This recipe makes 24 cupcakes.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>1 1\/2 cup self-rising flour<br \/>1 1\/4 cup cake flour<br \/>2 cups granluated sugar<br \/>1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature and cubed<br \/>1 cup whole milk<br \/>1 tsp pure vanilla extract<br \/>4 large eggs, at room temperature and lightly beaten<br \/><br \/><em>for buttercream<br \/><\/em>1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature<br \/>1 tsp vanilla extract<br \/>1 box (4 cups) powdered sugar<br \/>2-3 tbsp whole milk<\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F and line 2 cupcake pans with paper liners.<\/li>\n<li>In the stand mixer&#8217;s bowl, combine self-rising flour, cake flour, and sugar. Using the paddle attachment, mix for 2 mins on low speed. While this is ongoing, add the butter one cube at a time and please don&#8217;t rush! Mix until the texture becomes sand-like.<\/li>\n<li>In another bowl, combine the milk and vanilla and add 1\/2 of this mixture to the batter. Scrape the bowl and mix on medium speed for 1 minute. Slowly add the eggs and the rest of the milk mixture to the bowl now on low speed. Scrape the bowl again and continue mixing for about 1-2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Scoop the batter into the prepared cupcake pans.<\/li>\n<li>Bake this for 23 minutes or until the cake tester comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before you begin frosting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>For the buttercream<\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cream the butter in a large mixing bowl and add in the vanilla. Start to gradually add the powdered sugar one cup at a time and scrape down the sides of bowl often. When you notice the mixture start to thicken and appears dry, add 2 tbsp of milk. Beat on medium speed until smooth and creamy for about 2-4 minutes. Add more milk as needed if you want a thinner consistency. If desired, add a few drops of food colouring and mix thoroughly.<\/li>\n<li>Frost the cupcakes with an offset spatula.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<p>We know you loved using the Booky app for discovering the newest places in your city.
