The famed gyu-katsu sando<\/strong> is made with the finest wagyu beef, lightly breaded and fried in panko, and placed between crustless, pillowy white bread with a soy-vinegar sauce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The downside? It costs \u00a520,000<\/strong> or approximately \u20b19,700. And when you’re on a small salary or a tight budget, spending almost \u20b110,000 bucks on a sublime sandwich can be out of bounds (even though you really want to try it). That’s why we’ve found a cheaper alternative in Metro Manila<\/strong> that’ll still serve you tender, melt-in-your-mouth katsu sando goodness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Found in BGC, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse PH<\/strong><\/a> is known for their premium steaks as well as their katsu steak sandwich. Their Japanese-inspired Katsu Steak Sandwich is made with USDA Prime filet mignon cutlet<\/strong> and served with potato chips and tonkatsu sauce. And it only costs \u20b11,288<\/strong> compared to the whopping \u20b19,700 at Wagyumafia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
