Anthony Bourdain has done it again.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In case you haven’t heard, Anthony Bourdain is opening Bourdain Market at Pier 57 in New York City by\u00a02019, and it will be assembling\u00a0\u00a0“a dream list of chefs, operators, street food and hawker legends\u00a0from around the world in hopes of bringing them together in one New York City space.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n

The social media accounts\u00a0of Bourdain Market<\/a> have been posting\u00a0their scouting efforts and inspiration hunts at various food markets in Asia and other parts of the world. Here are some of them.<\/p>\n

According to Eater NYC<\/a>, the market will\u00a0have over 100 food stalls<\/strong> staffed by vendors around the world in a 155,000 square feet area<\/strong>. It will most likely be the largest food hall in New York City when it finally opens.\u00a0Think authentic and chaotic\u00a0Asian markets, Bourdain Market will open until late night and will even feature karaoke and film screenings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

So far, Bourdain\u00a0has already signed on Sabina Bandera, the operator of the La Guerrerense<\/strong> tostada cart from\u00a0Mexico, as well as Geyland Claypot Rice<\/strong> from Singapore.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0market space will be\u00a0created by design team,\u00a0Roman & Williams<\/strong> and will reportedly cost $60 million<\/strong>. A few art renderings have already been\u00a0published as well.<\/p>\n
