Is the Philippines next?<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The food industry is quickly evolving with the developing tastes of diners worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Back then, a simple glazed doughnut or a freshly-baked croissant paired with&nbsp;coffee was the already the best breakfast pairing ever, until the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/ph.phonebooky.com\/biz\/wildflour-cafe-bakery-fort-bonifacio\/\">croughnuts<\/a>&nbsp;<\/em>(croissant + doughnut). Cakes and milkshakes would have been considered a taboo and a call for diabetes, until someone invented the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ph.phonebooky.com\/biz\/the-lost-bread-maginhawa-street\/\"><em>cake shakes<\/em><\/a>. Gone are the days of&nbsp;the simple roasted marshmallow sandwiched between messy crackers and melted chocolate because in the modern times, we have <a href=\"https:\/\/ph.phonebooky.com\/biz\/mrs-grahams-macaron-cafe-scout-rallos\/\"><em>s&#8217;mores macarons<\/em><\/a>. Yes, these things actually exist.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, another croissant craze has&nbsp;began&nbsp;to emerge, but it hasn&#8217;t yet reached our shores. <em><strong>The Salted Egg Croissant was started by Urban Bakery in Hong Kong.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/em>Urban Bakery specializes in various croissants but their flaky and oozing molten egg yolk custard croissant has definitely become the star of their menu. It is sold for HKD$22 (approx. Yet somehow, these people have managed to take&nbsp;the croissant game up a notch. News have reported some cafes being sold out of these coveted croissants in just 30 minutes after they release it in stores.
