Located on the upper floor of renowned artist, Benji Reyes’s home, Tahanan Bistro is the newest must experience out-of-city dining escape in Antipolo. The Reyes’, after eight years, decides to open their doors to the public.
Fun Fact: Tahanan Bistro, including all of the furniture, is built by Benji Reyes.
Tahanan Bistro is a casual but fine dining restaurant overlooking an expansive garden and a snapshot of the Manila skyline. It is a family-run business that was built on creativity and love for the Philippines and its produce.
The experience is very personal from beginning to end. Chef Kevin Tuason and partner Keesha Reyes greeted us warmly and welcomed us into their 32-seater lanai lounge. It is intimate, relaxed and reminiscent of the serene provincial life, which is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of life in Manila.
Insider Tip: All guests are required to leave their shoes by the door, so bring socks if you don't want to walk around barefoot.
Say hi to Natasha, the big yellow koi.
Having recently returned from his culinary adventures in Melbourne, Australia, working in acclaimed restaurants such as The Mill on Hardware Lane, La Camera on Southgate, and The Langham on Southgate, Chef Kevin Tuason is here to bring his experience and offer a fresh culinary take on well-loved Filipino cuisine.
Tahanan Bistro is only open three days a week and is strictly by reservations only. Bookings may be made six months in advanced up to an hour before requested time. (View Calendar)
