Whether you were out partying the night before at Epic, or you slept in as would since you’re on vacation, the Sunny Side Cafe is the perfect place to get brunch in Boracay. This Boracay restaurant and cafe has two branches in Station 1 and Station 3.

Insider tip: The Sunny Side Cafe branch in Station 1 has some of the best beach views on its second floor which makes it very popular. The downside is that waiting times can be long, especially during rush hour. If you’re hungry and want to eat ASAP, go to the Station 3 branch!

One of the Best Brunch Restaurants in Boracay

Offering mostly all-day breakfast food, the Sunny Side Cafe, a popular and must-try dish is their pancakes; in particular the ube and cereal milk pancakes. These pancakes are big, fluffy, and topped with ube cream, cereal flakes, and ube ice cream.

For savory options, go for their namesake and try one of their egg dishes, shakshuka made with fried eggs, tomato sauce, sauteed tofu, cheese, and cilantro. For a small price, add some chorizo to make it even more flavorful.

An underrated menu item from the Sunny Side cafe is their take on Boracay’s famous Chori burger, made with spicy chorizo, and pepper jelly in between fresh brioche buns.

Fun fact: The Sunny Side Cafe also has a vegan version of the chori burger!

If you need to eat more carbs for a long day of island hopping and watersports, then try the Sunny Side Cafe’s adobo bowl or the shrimp arrabbiata.

Another heavy meal that you can try is the breakfast okonomiyaki which you can pair up with rice. Think of it as a Japanese-style pancake with nori, potatoes, cabbage, house-made bacon slabs, and poached egg.
