Start with a fresh salad

We first tried the Caramelized Walnut Salad which was pretty refreshing and light enough that we didn’t get too full—just perfect for a starter. The walnuts gave it a sweet flavor and crunchy texture in contrast to its dressing, adding depth.

Try a combination of Italian and Filipino classics

Salta! also offers classic Filipino food like the Adobo Rice Bowl made from 24-hour shortribs with pesto rice, slaw, and soft egg. The adobo was both tender and flavorful, perfect for those who are looking for something more familiar to eat.

If you want something more Italian, the Prosciutto Truffle Ragout Carbonara is the excellent choice.

As soon as the carbonara was placed on our table, the truffle smell was already pretty strong. Contrary to what I initially thought, the prosciutto did not make the carbonara salty at all. The egg was runny and perfect!

Have a podium finish with Salta!’s carrot cake

Finally, we ended our meal with Salta!’s Carrot Cake, a moist and flavorful cake with a cute little golden leaf on top. The cake isn’t too sweet. Overall it was a nice sweet finish to a successful late afternoon lunch.
