Salta! by Pappare is an Italian rotisserie bar serving roast chicken, lamb chops, pork chops, sausages, and ribs. Here, pasta is always made fresh and the meat is cooked in their charcoal-fired rotisserie.

At the helm of Salta’s kitchen is Chef Jarina Gem Tee, whose first venture, Pappare, started out as a noodle and pasta stall. The kiosk at the Food Hive in Visayas Ave. quickly gained a following thanks to its unique concept of serving authentic handmade noodles and pastas in takeout cones.

After the success of Pappare, Chef Gem knew she wanted to open up a rotisserie but couldn’t do it at the same food park. Instead, she decided to set up shop in a street not well-known as a food spot. It was a huge jump for her, but it all turned out to be worth it; thus, Salta was born.

Fun Fact: The restaurant's name comes from the Italian word for "jump"

Last May, the hole-in-the-wall closed its doors in order to move forward with plans to expand three times its original size so they could be able to accommodate more diners.

Well, in case you missed it, the wait is over. Salta is bigger and better than ever!
