Dessert game strong.
The restaurant industry in the Philippines is undeniably one of the toughest and most diverse markets in the country. Chefs and restaurant owners are always looking for ways to stand out from the rest of the crowd and of course, to win each hungry Filipino’s heart.
What better way to go viral on the internet than to serve one of the most ridiculously good looking desserts in the Philippines? Here’s what we found out.
Room for Dessert by Casa Verde
Room For Dessert is the newest dessert cafe in Cebu and is owned by the same group behind one of Cebu’s most popular American ribs and burger joint, Casa Verde.
It was recently featured by media giant INSIDER food. Check out the viral video here.
Since opening last November 2015, locals and tourists alike have been flocking to the cafe for its signature premium soft-serve ice cream served on fairy floss–the first of its kind in Cebu.
You can choose from a variety of flavors like K Pop C’s, Mason’s Bear Belly, Juliana’s Cookie Madness, and many more. Each cup costs only P69 and comes with your favorite toppings like pop rocks, M&M’s, Kit-Kat, Oreo, gummy candies, and even cereals.
Cone options are also available for P59.
If you’re looking for more classic desserts, you can opt for their premium cakes. Try their Tiramisu, Matcha or Rainbow cakes and pair it off with their blended or espresso drinks. The ice-blended drinks and even the coffee concoctions are made with real ice cream and costs only P115.
Insider Tip: You can watch the beautiful, picturesque sunset from inside the restaurant for an added sweet factor to that special date.
