Foggy Mountain Cookhouse – San Carlos Heights

Foggy Mountain Cookhouse by Chef ‘Babes’ Reyes is a hidden gem that provides a private dining experience with beautiful scenery to its customers. Chef Babes will personally cook and prepare some of his Mediterranean-inspired dishes with must-tries such as the roasted leg of lamb, truffle pasta, and his cookhouse banana foster.

Sweet Stop – La Azotea Building

Sweet Stop was just a small dessert kiosk along Session Road that eventually grew to become a small café. It’s a dessert haven that also serves pasta and breakfast meals. The La Azotea branch sports a minimalist French bistro look and is Instagram-friendly.

Why it’s great for dates: unlike the bigger, by-reservation-only restos in Baguio, Sweet Stop is great for that last-minute, spur-of-the-moment date. It lets you have great food at a picture-worthy location with minimal planning

Hamada – Baguio Country Club

Hamada is a Japanese ramen and teppanyaki house that is conveniently located inside Baguio Country Club. We heard that the Yamamori special is a sulit must-order!

Why it’s great for dates: Baguio isn’t exactly known for their Japanese cuisine, so Hamada is the perfect place for those craving for a sushi date in the mountains but aren’t sure where to look

Oh My Gulay – Session Road

Owned by Kidlat Tahimik who also owns Ili-Likha Artist Village, Oh My Gulay is a vegetarian cafe and restaurant sitting on the 5th floor of the green-colored La Azotea Building on Session Road. Yes, you’ll have to climb all five floors to get here.

Why it’s great for dates: from the 5-story climb to the vegetarian menu to the unique interiors, an afternoon or evening at Oh My Gulay is definitely an experience that you and your partner will remember!

Cafe Sabel – BenCab Museum

Cafe Sabel is Bencab Museum’s in-house restaurant located 3 flights down of the museum. In case you didn’t know, Sabel is Bencab’s muse and the subject of many of his paintings; Sabel is also the homeless woman he used to see outside of his house.

Why it’s great for dates: one of Baguio’s must-visit locations, the BenCab Museum is already a great date proposition, the addition of Cafe Sabel’s great food and warm ambiance make this spot a no-brainer
