From New York to Manila.
You’ve probably watched all those funky dessert videos on the internet of “cooking” plain cream and turning them into beautiful rolls of iced perfection. We know that it’s not the first time we’ve seen such a unique way of preparing our favorite cold dessert, but we’ve never seen anyone make them as beautiful and Instagram-worthy like this newest dessert kiosk in Quezon City does.
Brace yourselves, the fried ice cream craze is here.
Rockies Creamery is a small dessert kiosk that sells ice cream rolls with different toppings like cookies, fruits, and biscuits.
It’s inspired by the recent craze in Thailand and New York where you can watch your ice cream come to life from liquid ice cream base to ice cream rolls. The base is poured on a freezing metal platter and magically solidifies. The semi-solid ice cream is then scraped off the plate to form cute, flower-like rolls which is then finished with your choice of toppings.
Rockies Creamery’s ice cream flavors will include mango, banana, oreo, coffee, and matcha. You can also choose from their variety of toppings and sauces including caramel popcorn, corn flakes, crushed grahams, rainbow sprinkles, rice crispies, red beans, and many more.
Here’s a sneak peek!
A regular cup (ice cream rolls + 2 toppings + lava) is priced at P75, and a large is at P95 (ice cream rolls + 3 toppings + lava).
OPENING WEEKEND PROMO (July 23-24, 2016): Get the regular sized cup at only P70 and the large size for only Php85. But wait, there’s more! The first 30 customers on July 24 will be receiving one voucher each, which offers 2 free toppings on your next visit.
We can’t wait for more ice cream flavors and crazy toppings!
