We foodies can help in our little ways.

Severe Tropical Storm Kristine, the Philippines’ 11th tropical cyclone in 2024, has caused massive flooding, especially in the Bicol Region. As of this writing, several areas in Luzon remain under Signal No. 3.

Restaurants, particularly those in the hardest-hit areas of the Bicol Region, have organized soup kitchens and donation drives to assist those affected. Here are some of these restaurants and ways you can extend your support:

Pandawan Seafood Restaurant

Pandawan Seafood Restaurant served 4,300 food packs to the evacuees in Naga City affected by #KristinePH. For donations, refer to the poster below.

Chef Doy’s Gourmet Restaurant

Chef Doy Gourmet Restaurant distributed 225 packs of hot meals to residents of Brgy. Sabang, Naga City. To donate, send a message to their Facebook page.

The Bang Cafe and Restaurant

The Bang Cafe and Restaurant will donate 100% of its sales today, October 24, to those affected by #KristinePH in the Bicol Region. They also accept donations at their branch in Tanay, Rizal.

Jollibee

Jollibee Foods Corporation also donated food via Angat Buhay to deliver meals to typhoon-stricken communities in Southern Luzon.

McDonald’s Kindness Kitchen served its first 5,000 meals to those affected by #KristinePH. To donate, visit their website.
