From the people behind Tony Roma’s Philippines, K-Pub BBQ and Modern China comes another exciting new dining experience. After embarking and successfully taking on American, Korean and Chinese cuisines, restaurateur George N. Pua takes on another culinary journey with the Chef Kiyoshi Ogawa (previously from Senju at the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel) to bring and introduce true Japanese flavors to our local shores through OGAWA.

Ogawa is set in the heart of the city, but the experience is out of this world, starting from the entrance.

Their attention to details in creating the space, regardless of expense, is very apparent. Smack right in the center is the open Teppanyaki kitchen, where diners can enjoy watching exhibitions from the teppan chefs.

Insider tip: The Teppanyaki kitchen is open on all four sides for diners to sit in, but only 1 side lets you actually see the cooking upfront.

The spacious floor is divided into different areas. On the left side of the teppanyaki kitchen is a sushi bar where you’ll most likely see Chef Ogawa in action.

And on the right are Ogawa’s selection of fine Japanese liquor surrounded by a display of vintage barrels.

Ogawa houses five elegantly designed private rooms perfect for business meetings, intimate get-togethers or any kind of celebration. Each room is named after popular district cities in Japan, namely: Ginza, Roponggi, Akasaka, Aoyama and Shinbashi.
