Foo’d (pronounced as “foo-dough”) is a chef-driven restaurant offering Italian dishes with a modern twist. 210 Degrees Kitchen + Drinkery – Icon Plaza BGC

210 Degrees is a newly-opened French kitchen by Chef William Mahi, originally from The Tasting Room at City of Dreams. It serves a four-course set menu where you can choose your appetizer, mains and dessert.

Fun Fact: 210 degrees is Chef Mahi’s perfect roasting temperature level; hence, the name.

Tomatito – BGC Corporate Center

Led by acclaimed chef, Chef Willy, Tomatito is a sexy tapas bar from Shanghai serving Spanish-influenced dishes. Its aesthetic is inspired by Spanish bars in the 80s which provides a retro fluorescent atmosphere.

Fun Fact: Tomatito is brought in by the guys behind Las Flores and Rambla.

The Test Kitchen – Bistro Academy Makati

Together with the Bistro Group, Chef Josh Boutwood opens The Test Kitchen to serve as his culinary playground. Located at the Bistro Academy where kitchen experiments actually happen, Chef Josh offers an intimate and private dining experience with a regularly changing menu. The Test Kitchen serves a 6 and 8-course menu and can only accommodate around 20 people.

Insider tip: Watch out for a few chef surprises in between courses.

Hey Handsome – Net Park Bldg.

Hey Handsome is a hip Peranakan restaurant headed by Chef Nicco Santos of Legaspi Village cult favorite, Your Local. Their blackboard menu features a short menu consisting of dishes for curious palates. Must try’s include the Bebek Penyet (duck), Kambing Buah Keluak and Nasi Lemak.

Fun Fact: Peranakan cuisine is a combination of Chinese ingredients and Malay/Indonesian spices.
