Salt Bakery is the newest addition to a number of sweet shops in the Katipunan area. It is the first out-of-home venture from Sam Ty, home baker and the man behind The Noodle Bakes. Sugar Factory Manila – TBA
If Disney is the happiest place on earth, Sugar Factory is the sweetest place on earth. It is an American brasserie and candy house best known for its sugary confections and desserts including its signature sparkly lollipops called Couture Pops, chocolates, pretzel sticks, gelato, milkshakes and more. First established in Las Vegas in 2009, it is coming to Manila soon, no further details have been announced as of this writing.
Rye Tasting Room – Salcedo Village
Il Ponticello has turned their VIP room into a new and exciting tasting room featuring a new curated drinking experience. Rye Tasting Room offers an extensive selection of single malt whiskies and other alcoholic beverages, as well as small plates for pairing. It is expected to open on March 27.
Léon Pâtisserie – Traiteur – Timog Ave.
Léon Pâtisserie-Traiteur is a french pastry shop headed by Parisian-born pastry chef Leon Izapango, whose baking philosophy centers around three principles: flavor, tradition and creativity. Chef Leon aims to bring the french culinary culture to the Philippines through his beautiful and delicious breads and desserts. It is expected to open on March 16.
Treehouse Cafe – Makati Ave.
A close sister of music bar and game house Treehouse Tavern, Treehouse Cafe will be opening right below it soon, offering a new menu, new decor and new vibes from Executive Chef PJ and his team.
