U.P. Town Center is a collaboration between U.P. Diliman campus and the Ayala Malls that aims to foster community and academe building by providing a mix of high-quality retailers and office tenants, restaurants, and services that cater to the needs and demands of students, workers, and residents in the surrounding community.
U.P. Town Center opened its doors in 2013 and hasn’t stopped expanding and opening new stores since then. Check out these uptc restaurants for when you have a free cut (wink wink), and family day or just looking to eat out!
Scout’s Honor – G/F Phase 2
More than just a cookie store, Scout’s Honor serves American fast food in different regions whether they be Tex-Mex, Italian American, or Southern Cuisine.
Recommend dishes: buttermilk fried chicken, chili garlic seafood linguini, meatballs in creamy pesto
Hanamaruken – G/F Phase 2
Right beside Scout’s Honor is Hanamaruken, arguably one of the best ramen shops in Metro Manila. Come here on a rainy day and get a nice warm bowl of their signature happiness ramen; topped with a generous amount of pork rib to soothe the soul.
Recommended dishes: signature happiness ramen, gyoza, drunk man rice bowl
Dohtonbori – 2/F
Straight from Japan, have a taste of Osaka right at Dohtonbori in U.P. Town Center. This restaurant specializes in okonomiyaki, both Osaka and Nagasaki-style. Dohtonbori also has other Japanese dishes like katsudon, ramen, gyoza, sushi, and sashimi.
Recommended dishes: deluxe okonomiyaki, kiwami seafood special okonomiyaki, Hiroshima yaki mix
El Pollo Loco – G/F, Phase 1B
A popular chicken place in America, El Pollo Loco is a place to get Mexican-style grilled chicken. This no-frills restaurant serves nothing but chicken and a few menu items like quesadillas, nachos, and tacos.
Recommended dishes: flamed grilled chicken, loco bowl, spaghetti con salsa
Kuya Korea – 1/F Phase 1
Owned by the actor, David Licauco, Kuya Korean offers your favorite Korean food that’s affordable yet doesn’t break the bank. Go here for a quick meal right before your classes!
Recommended dishes: gochujang chicken, bulgogi rice bowl, bingsu
Genki Sushi – G/F Phase 2
Welcome to the future (Japan)! With Genki Sushi, all you have to do is order off a tablet located beside your table and wait for the sushi train to arrive at its destination (your table). Aside from the unique experience, they also serve really good sushi!
Recommended dishes: fresh tuna nigiri, seared salmon black pepper nigiri, tuna sashimi, chuka wakame gunkan
Nono’s – Level 1
One of the most popular restaurants wherever it is, Nono’s has become well-known for their high-quality comfort food and must-try desserts. It’s definitely a “yes!” from us for Nono’s.

Barcino – G/F Phase 1
Have a taste of Spain right in the middle of Katipunan at Barcino! Famous for their delicious Spanish cuisine and wide selection of wine, our personal favorite offer from Barcino is their unli-sangria.

Silantro Fil-Mex Cantina – 2/F
A true U.P. Town Center staple, Silantro is a casual Tex-Mex restaurant that still brings in massive lines! Packing huge flavors at great prices, Silanto is definitely a must-try spot when you find yourself at U.P. Town.
Recommended dishes: Silantro's Paella Fajita Mix, Papi's Fritas, Nachos
The Alley by Vikings – 2/F
The Alley by Vikings is an indoor food hall with international unique concepts to choose from. Reminiscent of hawker centers, The Alley is a food hall with all-you-can-eat street food for when you can’t choose where to eat in QC.
Crisostomo – 2/F
Crisostomo is a casual restaurant from celebrity chef, Florabel Co-Yatco. Aptly named after the protagonist in national hero Jose Rizal’s acclaimed novel, Noli Me Tangere, it serves classic Filipino dishes with a twist.
Recommended dishes: Halo-Halo ni Crisostomo, Paella Filipino, Kare-Kare ng Kura
Marugame Udon – G/F
A self-service style restaurant from Tokyo which allows you to create your own udon by picking your own toppings, get affordable, flavorful, and freshly made Japanese dishes at Marugame Udon.
Recommended dishes: Beef Ontama Bukkake Udon, Chicken Paitan Udon, and Beef Yaki Udon.
The Fat Seed Cafe + Roastery – G/F Phase 2
The Fat Seed Cafe + Roastery offers specialty coffee and fusion comfort food like kimchi fried rice with maple bacon slab, quinoa bowl, and buttermilk fried chicken with ube waffle in salted egg sauce.

Cibo – 2/F
A favorite among titas and would-be-titas, Cibo is a local restaurant chain by Margarita Flores that serves authentic Italian dishes tweaked for Filipino tastes. Quite literally, Cibo means ‘food’ in Italian.
Recommended dishes: Tiramisu Croccante, Pate Di Fegato / Crostini/ Chicken Liver Pate, Melted Cheese/ Thin Sardinian Flat Bread
Ramen Nagi – G/F
One of the most popular joints in the country, Ramen Nagi is known for offering “King” bowls that come in different flavors. Some of the flavors they offer are the Black King (squid ink), Red King (spicy), and Green King (pesto).

TuanTuan Chinese Brasserie, located right in the heart of the alfresco area at UP Town Center, serves Hong Kong comfort food in a French-inspired ambiance.
