19. Shinsen Sushi Bar and Restaurant – multiple branches
Shinsen – “fresh” in Japanese – is a homegrown sushi bar that now has two branches around Pasig. While it is known for its fresh sushi selections, oysters and teppanyaki, which you can read about here.
18. Royal Indian Curry House – multiple branches
Royal Indian Curry House or R.I.C.H. is a popular late night sports bar and restaurant in the growing Poblacion food hub in Makati. It serves authentic Indian cuisine and is also an all-in-one hangout spot that boasts of five floors of entertainment and dining areas. 17. Grape Escape PH – Maginhawa
Grape Escape is a wine lounge and kitchen and is the first of its kind in Maginhawa. They first made its appearance a year ago in the food park, StrEAT: Maginhawa. 16. Nikuya Charcoal Grill & Shabu-Shabu – Now Closed
Nikuya is a local concept that’s first to offer Korean grill with Japanese hotpot in one place. Nikuya, along with new restaurants like Kko Kko, Buta+Wagyu, etc. is owned by TV personality and host, Grace Lee.

8. Va Bene Pasta Deli – multiple branches
Va Bene (which means “it’s good” in Italian) has been named one Manila’s best Italian restaurants one too many times and is known for serving fresh handmade pastas by Italian Chef Massimo Veronesi. Read our full feature here.

Ganso-Shabuway is an international franchise from California that offers Japanese style hot pot. They serve all-natural grass fed beef, fresh produce and other hot pot toppings.

Vanderlust Bistro + Patisserie is a hidden pastry shop and restaurant in Tomas Morato serving up unique European pastries and dishes inspired from the owners’ honeymoon in Europe.
