20. Breakfast at Antonio’s – Tagaytay

Often dubbed as THE breakfast destination in Tagaytay, Breakfast at Antonio’s sits on the Tagaytay ridge, giving diners a picture-perfect view of the majestic Taal Lake. This 170-seater all-day breakfast cafe has an open space design, which makes for a cool and sunny vibe. READ MORE

19. Dohtonbori – Greenhills

Dohtonbori is the #1 okonomiyaki restaurant chain in Japan, established in Tokyo in 1990. It is the only Japanese restaurant that offers the first and only cook-your-own okonomiyaki experience in Manila. READ MORE

18. Pound by Todd English – Bonifacio High Street

Pound is an old school counter-style burger joint with a 1920s speakeasy vibe, a direct spin-off of Todd English Food Hall’s burger station. Popular for their signature burgers and sliders, you shouldn’t miss their Pound Burger (which has foie gras), the T.E. Crispy Chicken and the Amsterdam burgers.

Insider tip: Watch out for two more branches in SM Megamall and Alabang Town Center.

15. Le Petit Soufflé – Century City Mall

Le Petit Souffle is a French and Japanese-inspired cafe from the Tasteless Group (of Hole in the Wall, Scout’s Honor, Bad Bird, Wrong Ramen, and more). They serve modern dishes crafted with flavors and precision of Japanese and French cuisines. It recently opened a second branch in SM Megamall, and a third one is coming soon in UP Town Center.

12. Locavore Kitchen + Drinks – Kapitolyo

True to its name, Locavore serves only locally grown and produced Filipino dishes with a French touch from Chef Mikel Zaguirre (of Empingao!, Taqueria 101 and newly opened Carnivalé). It has consistently been on every best restaurants list this year for its innovative and exciting menu. 10. Din Tai Fung – SM Megamall

Din Tai Fung is an internationally-known dim sum restaurant from Taiwan and a 5-time Michelin awardee most famous for their xiao long bao. Your Local is a neighbourhood bistro serving Southeast Asian dishes with a twist.
