Book a table and get ₱500 off!

Rice, karne, and sabaw make up our DNA as Filipinos, but with our adventurous palates and blistering love for food, we’ve always fared well when we cross through cultures and experience new cuisines. However, a singular problem arose for this authentic restaurant, which was the fact that Filipinos never eat their pizza crusts!

A simple trick put an end to this: MOZZARELLA STUFFED CRUSTS FOR ALL PIZZAS.

Aside from the amazingly authentic food Mamma Mia in Uptown Mall puts in front of you, once you step into the threshold, it brings forth those memories of long hours with loved ones that seemed like seconds. In shared plates, laughter, and bites of their pizzas and pastas, it gets personal.

Italian Food-Cuisine

Although our mother country and Italy are on different sides of the globe, we have a lot more in common with Italian culture than we think. Our cuisines may be different (save for pancit and pasta), but our eating habits couldn’t be more similar: a sumptuous feast made from ancestral recipes of our favorite dishes, and a huge table set for the whole family.

Mamma Mia is an Italian one-stop shop brought to you by the creators of Toni and Sergio Gastro Italiano that deems any hour appropriate for a warm meal. Serving traditional and modern Italian dishes that go with both your morning coffee and late night drinks, they’re bringing the Italian way to Manila where sitting at the table with your loved ones for hours is the norm.

Fun fact: On the logo, the tattoo on the lady's arm reads "I ♥ Toni" which pays homage to owner Giulius Iapino's parents, Toni and Mamma Mia.

Step in between their beautiful columns and be greeted by bright colors that belong to the streets of old time Rome. But farther in, you’ll feel as if you’ve entered an Italian home, with a rustic touch to its interiors: floral patterns on the walls, worn bricks, and comfty chairs and tables.

Under the soft light of the interiors (which read the name: a literal translation for “my mother” echoing the feel of an Italian mother feeding her family), you can share their countless dishes that go perfectly with anything from the deck of drinks displayed.

Fun fact: Their pizzas are as authentic as can be. Not only is the dough made fresh every time, but their wood-fire oven was imported from Italy!

Eat everything freshly picked and made for the table, from soups and salads to all the goodies: explosive appetizers, homemade pasta, pizza, and liquor. Another addition that sets them apart from the entire food scene is their introduction to the beauty of cheese-stuffed crusts: mozzarella, taleggio, cream cheese, and mascarpone, to be exact. In every. Single. Pizza. Sit tight, and enjoy your day.

Insider tip: Aside from getting ₱500 off your bill, you can Buy 1 Get 1 Pizzas on Mondays, and Pastas on Tuesdays!
