Mai Wei Fang (pronounced my-way-fahng, which means wheat mill room in Chinese) is a “fast casual Chinese restaurant focusing on wheat flour products typically found in northeast China”.

The restaurant may be small, but it packs a punch. The bright, yellow interiors can instantly perk up any mood and the open kitchen can elevate anyone’s dining experience.

The owners’ mission was to bring heirloom Chinese recipes that are fresh, made-to-order, and made from high quality ingredients. Check out just some of the staple, flour dishes that have lasted in China for centuries.

Sheng Jian Bao (Pan Fried Pork Soup Dumplings)

These dumplings are made with semi-leavened dough, wrapped around a pork meat filling, which is then pan-fried and steamed. A signature product!
