3-course Michelin-star quality dishes for ₱800? Believe it.
The best thing about Manila’s food scene is it’s constantly growing, just like our stomachs and appetites. Aside from new crazy dessert trends and hole-in-the-wall spots, we welcomed international brands as well. The best part? We’re not even finished yet.
Next on the bucket list is a fancy concept by one of Italy’s most acclaimed chefs: Davide Oldani.

Foo’d by Davide Oldani is a contemporary restaurant offering Italian dishes with a modern twist. Its culinary style represents Oldani’s distinctive Cucina POP, a cuisine he created himself. It aims to balance high quality and accessibility–the same philosophy that inspired two of his first restaurants, Michelin-starred D’O and Davide Oldani Cafe.
Fun Fact: 'Foo'd' is pronounced as /foo-dō/, similar to "foo-dough".
The concept is brought in by Foodee Global Concepts, the same folks that gave us Todd English, Sunnies Cafe, MESA, and more. Its latest venture Foo’d seeks to provide affordable luxury, with a Michelin-star quality three-course menu starting at just P800. Its fancy interiors also create the perfect ambience for a full fine dining experience.
Insider tip: The restaurant may be hard to find, as its signage is a tiny logo found on its big, black door.
Foo’d by Davide Oldani offers a choice between a three-course menu starting at P800 and a four-course menu starting at P1200. Each menu is already composed 1 appetizer, 1-2 mains, and 1 dessert—but you can upgrade your courses for an additional fee.
