Perhaps that is why, even in its first opening weeks, Elsewhere has quickly become a favored tambayan spot for Lasallians, coffee lovers, and anyone who appreciates places of calm. More than just coffee, Elsewhere is a place where you can mute the rest of the world and simply enjoy the moment.
Art market, photo booth, and more at Elsewhere
Elsewhere is a whole different world from the busy Taft Avenue. Upon entering, you’ll immediately feel the laid-back atmosphere that still buzzes with soft energy. The walls and counters are adorned with pops of color from Ghibli stills, artsy lamps, and other adorable anik-aniks.
The space at Elsewhere invites you to sit down and relax, whether you’re there for a productive work session or just hanging out with friends. The seats are comfortable, the lighting is dim, and every now and then, the sound of the bustling train adds to the background music.
But more than just a cafe, Elsewhere also has two other attractions that make it popular: their vintage photobooth and art market. For a minimum of P200, you can take a photo with your friends!
Inside their art market corner, you’ll find all things cute and fun. If you love collecting stickers, pins, and anything that makes you giggle with excitement, this is the place for you. They also have bags, caps, and shirts in store!
Must-try drinks and dishes at Elsewhere
Elsewhere offers a wide selection of drinks and dishes for you to enjoy. They serve coffee classics, matcha drinks, horchata, soda pops, and smoothies. Pair these with their waffles, sandwiches, salads, and pasta. For a more filling meal, they have mains like Hamburger Steak, Loco Moco, Katsu Curry, and Katsudon.
For our coffee fix, we tried their signature drinks: Elsewhere Latte (P140 for hot, P170 for iced), Taho Latte (P170), and Tiramisu Latte (P250). The Elsewhere Latte was comfort in a cup, while the Taho Latte was a delectable treat, thanks to the tapioca pearls.
Our personal favorite was the Tiramisu Latte. The drink had a bold coffee kick while perfectly balancing the sweetness of the tiramisu flavor.
