Another hole-in-the-wall restaurant to check out this weekend!

Drei’s Modern Day Cuisine – Marikina

Located along Katipunan street in Marikina lies this hidden, garden-inspired restaurant called, Drei’s Modern Day Cuisine. Owned by the Coronel siblings, it opened just last January 2016 and is a tribute to their late brother, Drei.

The interiors speak for itself and radiates a heart-warming love that they want their customers to feel as soon as they step inside the restaurant. The owners are very friendly and will even initiate small talks with their customers.

The al fresco dining  is surrounded with hanging greens, pastel coloured chairs, and accented with bottles that hold origami cranes. The view looks even better at night with hanging lights.

Quotes, drawings, and hugot lines are written on chalkboards displayed on the brick wall outside.

They even have a freedom wall for you to doodle or write your #hugot thoughts on.

Drei’s is all about Eat + Art. Aside from their art-filled interiors, guests can enjoy acoustic nights by indie bands and artists, poetry nights and soon, movie nights!

What family doesn’t love to eat? The Coronels are no exception. Drei’s serves the family’s Filipino favorites with a twist. Here are some of their bestsellers:
