Artist and entrepreneur Alexis Ventura’s well-known craft and supplies store, The Craft Central, is now expanding into a café. Aptly named, The Craft Central Cafe, the restaurant can be found in Quezon City and is the first and only branch that includes a coffee shop with pastries and savoury meals alongside the many shelves of art supplies.

It was Warren Buffett, one of the greatest investors of all time, who said, “Don’t just satisfy your customers, delight them.” and it clearly shows that Alexis did just that.
During her workshops, Alexis would gain insights from her students. She started Craft Central because she noticed they were having a hard time looking for craft materials in the country. She put up an online shop which later on led to The Craft Central becoming a physical store with over five branches around Metro Manila.
Fun fact: Alexis Ventura is also the founder of Ink Scribbler.
After some time, she began to notice her students would have to completely stop mid-project and have to head elsewhere to grab a bite to eat or have a cup of coffee. It was then she decided to expand the brand into a cafe along with her sister, Monique.
Insider tip: The Craft Central holds monthly workshops. You can check their announcements here.
In every corner of the cafe, you’ll see a number of shelves all filled up but not limited to arts and crafts supplies. You’ll find various brushes, coloured pens, canvas materials, inks, all kinds of notebooks, and organisers.
They also have all sorts of reusable straws in different colours, cute reusable tote bags, and reusable travel sized containers. They even have bath bombs, artisanal bar soaps, and essential oils.
Insider tip: You can bring your pets! They're allowed both in the indoor and outdoor areas.
In the front side of the branch, you’ll find the cafe and discover all the food and drinks you can enjoy. Further back is the workspace, both indoor and outdoor, where you can eat while you work on your project.
Their menu includes sandwiches, flatbreads, savoury dishes, pastries, coffee, and milkshakes.
