It’s always an adventure going down South when looking for new and good restaurants, and it’s also a no-brainer that the Aguirre food strip in BF Homes has some of the most talked about restaurants for their interesting concepts.
One of the many restaurants that stand out is Confusion Diner, owned by partners Randolph Joseph and Nadine Almario. Usually associated with the word ‘confused’, the name ‘Confusion’ is actually a combination of the words ‘con‘, meaning ‘with‘ in Spanish, and ‘fusion‘, which represents their creative menu and dishes.
Confusion Diner is a casual dining restaurant that exudes a homey and comforting ambiance. To stay true to its retro and very throwback diner theme, the walls are filled with several posters of some of the greatest classic and modern, foreign and Filipino films. From movie flicks like The Godfather, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Casablanca, to even the cutesy and most-talked about ‘hugot’ film, ‘That Thing Called Tadhana’, this is definitely a haven for movie geeks.
It’s an ideal place to meet with friends for good conversations while enjoying delicious and fuss-free comfort food dishes. Most of what’s in their menu are influenced by Asian cuisine, prepared with a quirky twist that uniquely represents Confusion Diner’s message.
Now, here’s a sneak peek on some of their best-selling dishes for you to try on your next road trip to the South.
