Char Dining is a Singaporean-grown restaurant that specializes in Cantonese food with Western influences such as roast dishes, casseroles, vegetables, fried rice, and more.
Fun fact: Two brothers, Anthony and Alvin Ung, from United Kingdom started this concept.
The brothers were exposed to numerous Western and Asian restaurants in Birmingham, where they lived for over 30 years. From that, they were inspired to go back to their roots and refine the recipe for one of Singapore’s favorite dishes, the char siew. Along with that, here are other best-sellers you definitely have to try.
