Mi casa es su casa!

In the center of Acacia Estates in Taguig, is a furniture and decor shop, that doubles as a cafe, where you can grab a bite while going through their catalogue of furniture pieces.

Casa Consunji opened in 2018, owned by business partners Maggie Wilson, Janela Cuaton, and Parul Shah. With the goal of “Turning your house into a home”, this furniture store is the tropical islander’s dream, consisting of home furniture and decor that incorporate tropical and rustic themes into its designs.

The store is composed of neutral tones and wooden pieces. This greatly contrasts with the lively tropical tones of the furniture pieces displayed all over the store. Both of these are able to give off a modern, but warm and homey vibe to the place.

Fun Fact: Even the chairs and tables you use when you eat there are for sale.

The cafe has a small but delectable food selection, ranging from appetizers and meals like pastas and sandwiches, to snacks like cookies. They also serve specialty coffee.

Some items to try out from their menu are the Greek Yogurt Smoothie Bowl, and an Iced Mocha for a nice cool glass of coffee.

Their Greek yogurt smoothie bowl, with yogurt, granola, and honey, is the perfect dish for a healthy, well balanced breakfast.

The iced mocha consists of a rich espresso with ice, topped with chocolate ice cream, for a nice cool caffeine drink. Their straws are made out of sugar cane instead of plastic, though it is very fragile.

They have no set menu at the moment as they are currently on soft opening, but they’re open 8 AM to 8 PM daily, so you can spend your Sunday brunch or lazy afternoons in this house, and regardless if you live in the area or not, this cafe will surely make you its resident.
