Bungee Workout PH
Bungee Workout PH is an international franchise hailing from Bangkok, founded by longtime dancers and veterans of the fitness community who wanted to create a new workout that combines the best elements of aerobics exercises, dance, movement and Zumba classes, and resistance training.
The result? A unique blend of assisted body weight exercises, intense core and ab workouts, and fun and thrilling choreography that will leave you breathless in more ways than one.
How does it work?
You won’t be doing jumping jacks off of a bridge, clifftop, or anything like that! Bungee Workout PH starts out in a mostly standard movement and fitness studio (with the exception of the bungee harnesses hanging from the ceiling, of course). In fact, a lot of the warming up and stretching you’ll do before you get on the harnesses will feel familiar if you’re used to a lot of Zumba, Pilates, or aerobics classes.
Once you get strapped into bungee cords, however, it becomes a completely different story. Bungee Workout PH’s instructors design every workout with the intent to make the most out of the unique positions and activities that the elastic bungee cord can help you accomplish.
From doing push-ups and even handstands to getting down theatrical, gravity-defying choreography, a lot of what you’ll be doing in Bungee Workout PH will test your coordination and focus. This means that you aren’t only being trained physical, but mentally as well!
The unorthodox combination of the bungee cord along with dance moves is made on purpose to ensure that every session is different from the last. This keeps every workout fresh, challenging, and stimulating and proves that the bungee cord is more than just a prop; it’s an effective workout tool!
Our tip: Avoid wearing anything that shows midriff because the bungee cord's straps might dig into any exposed skin.
Once you’ve gotten more used to the sensation of a bungee cord propelling you back and forth where you need to go, it’ll be time to fly! Cautiously and confidently throw yourself into the many different poses and challenges that you can’t do anywhere else. It truly is a one-of-a-kind sensation and it can be as much of a fun pastime as it is a killer workout, so we recommend that you really take advantage and soar through the air like a superhero.

If you’re fine with your feet on the ground and aren’t aching for something more than your usual movement class, then maybe Bungee Workout PH might be too much for you- but even then, we’d recommend it just because it’s legitimately such an incomparable experience.
