Fresh is the way to go. There’s no losing when you want a healthy meal to cleanse you of all the oil inside (c/o last night’s pizza), but a recurring problem is that healthy food isn’t that easy on the wallet. But lucky for you, there’s a place both in Uptown and down Katipunan that has the best of both worlds – a big serving size with a price that won’t hurt your pocket!

Bawai’s is a homegrown Vietnamese restaurant that uses only the freshest ingredients imported from Vietnam.
In their newest branch in Uptown, you’ll be greeted with a beautiful painting with three women in their áo dài, the traditional attire for Vietnamese women. It certainly adds a homey touch to the place.
Fun fact: Bawai's means "grandmother" in Vietnamese.
But if you’re stationed up near Katipunan, there’s another little patch of home in Bellitudo building along Katipunan extension.
With the same homey ambience, the store opens up to a family friendly space that allows natural light to seep in – just where any group can gather over the freshest Vietnamese food.
That’s not all there is to it. Aside from its already homey exteriors, this branch transports you to a place where even the air is fresh, with its quaint backyard.
Expect authentic Vietnamese flavors and good quality dishes when you’re in Bawai’s. Their dishes are very well researched and truly made with love.
