That’s right, another food park is set to open THIS WEEK!
To all our Quezon City readers, rejoice! Backyard Food Park is opening this week. Enjoy over 15 new stalls serving unique cuisines and dishes in the 1,000 square meter space. More space = more food to try and love.
How about we dive right into the dishes you can try when it finally opens? Here’s a sneak peek at some of the wide range of delicious stalls you can choose from.
Adobo Ko ‘To
This stall will be serving everyone’s favorite adobo and other adobo dishes with a twist. Must-try: Coco Adobo (ultra-creamy caramelized chicken or pork adobo blended with coconut milk), Cheesy Adobo, and Sisig Adobo.
The Barn
Get your affordable steak fix right here at The Barn! Make sure to try their t-bone steak dish and the addicting sauce that you can buy more of.
Bim & Sam
Enjoy some of your favorite Korean dishes at Bim & Sam. Must-try: Bibimbap, Samgyeopsal, and Cheese Ramyun.
Insider tip: Bim And Sam will have a Special “Love Locks” Wall inspired by the same concept in Korea and Paris. So surprise your partner with a lock and marker on your date!
Getta Pound Burger & Sausages
If you haven’t guessed from their name yet, Getta Pound Burger will be serving affordable and hefty burgers by the pound pressed between black buns. It also carries a number of gourmet Hungarian sausages overloaded with various toppings.
Habibi Shawarman
Don’t miss out on their all-beef platter, different shawarma wraps, and shawarma rice. Also, you might just meet the man behind the logo himself!
The Hungry Pig
They call themselves the home of the best porkchop and now you’ll be able to figure out why. Try their different chops like, Spicy Soy Garlic Chops and Chop Schniztel (pictured below), as well as their Bagnet Sisig.
Katips Dim Sum
This stall serving Chinese dimsum favorites have another branch in Katipunan so they named this after that, go figure!
Ohana
No need to fly to Japan just to taste Japanese street food. Ohana will be using their Okinawan family recipes to serve you Okinawan street food that consists of deep fried delicacies and more. Fun fact: Ohana means “family” in Hawaiian culture and this stall used that word because they’re a family-run business.
Mr. Crabs
Choose your seafood (crabs, prawns, and more), your sauce, and spice level then eat up. Insider tip: If you’re a fan of spicy food, you can ask the chef to cook your seafood beyond the advertised spice level.
Olympia’s Gourmet House of Roast Beef
Get ready to taste this melt-in-your-mouth roast beef that’s been soaked in red wine. Try it with their pesto pasta, as Philly Cheesesteak, or even as a burger.
Papat’s Pizza and Inasal
Enjoy pizza, wraps, and even boodle-style food at this stall. They have big servings and even let you customize your orders (like what pizza toppings you want). Fun fact: They can even stack multiple pizzas at the same time!
Plaza de Taqueria
Get your Mexican fix at this stall with everything from tacos, nachos, and even build-your-own-burritos. Must-try: Taqueria Nachos, pictured below (crispy tortilla chips topped with ground beef, jalapeños, refried beans, pico de gallo, cheese sauce, and Taqueria’s salsa roja) and Pork Chicharrones (crispy thin slices of pork belly flavored with their signature Taqueria spice rub, served with chorizo rice and nacho chips on the side).

Secret Window
Ribs + cheese?! Taste that interesting combination and more at Secret Window. Must-try: Jack’s Usual (seasoned ribs paired with melted and gooey cheese) and Acorn Pops (chicken and waffle lollipops), pictured below.
Shake O’Way
Quench your thirst with milkshakes and other drinks at this stall. Make sure to try their best-seller, the S’mores shake.
Smokey Sticks
Street food and rice bowls, taken to another level. Make sure you try their isaw, longganisa, and lamb tips. If you’re trying to be healthy, don’t worry because they also have a vegetarian platter.
Wing It FVW
Get your wing fix in either 6 pieces or a dozen with different sauces like Salted Egg, Garlic Parmesan, Sriracha Lime, and Classic Buffalo. Not up for wings? No problem, they also offer Chicken Fried Steak and more.
Aside from enjoying these stalls, you can also enjoy acoustic performances every once in a while.
