A cafe and an art gallery in one.
There are a lot of restaurant gems in BF Homes, but this one stood out for its beautiful and artistic flair.
Artists Gallery – BF Homes
Formerly called Artists Haven, Artists Gallery is an enchanting place that’s been around since the early ’80s. It is a two-storey art gallery and cafe that was once the home of owner Cynthia Jamlang and her daughter Gel.
Step inside and be welcomed with its creative interiors starting with the salmon-colored walls, curved entryways, and rounded corners that encourage gallery visitors and diners to roam around, sip a glass of wine or coffee, and be inspired by art itself. Cynthia and her daughter Gel, who is also a visual artist in the US, personally designed the space.
Fun fact: Because of Cynthia's passion and creative drive, the interior design of the place changes every two weeks.
One section features geometric tiles softened by floral accents and contemporary artworks by Gel and other artists like Raul Isidro, Efraim Samson, Tinee Nuyda, Roger San Miguel, and painter/printmaker Fil Dela Cruz,
Insider tip: Fil dela Cruz regularly conducts art workshops at the gallery.
Of course, what’s an art gallery without workshops and activities? Artists Gallery offer workshops for all ages and sizes. There are 8 module sessions with lessons in basic and advanced drawing, rendering in pencil, oil pastel, acrylic painting, portfolio-making, and more.
Staying in theme is their menu as well, see if you recognize any or all of the artists and paintings the dishes were named after. Here are some of their bestsellers:
