Classical Ballet
Our Classical Ballet training is based on the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, which began in England. The Royal Academy of Dance is an international teacher training and examining organization for classical ballet whose aim is to develop the highest possible standards of teaching.

Ballet for Adults
Adult ballet class are for women and men of all ages, shape and sizes, who have never tried taking ballet or have a background when they were young and wants ballet to be part of their fitness regimen. We start with warm-up exercise on the floor, then to the barre which supports the balance of the body while it completes, various routines designed to increase strength, mobility and then to center exercise.

Modern
Modern dance at Steps explores the elements of dance namely, space, time and energy and implements visual imagery in performance. Classes encourage creativity and individuality of the dancer through the use of improvisation and exploration exercises and aims to produce "intelligent" dancers & performers. Modern class is offered on different occasions only within the year. And because of the highly strenuous movements being taught, technique classes are open only for dancers with previous dance training.

Jazz
Jazz is the dance, which was inspired by jazz music, which in turn had its roots in Negro Spirituals, Gospel music, and African music during the late 1800s. Jazz music had its heyday with the great bands and performers of the 1930s and 1940s and the dance evolved from there as its expression in movement. The jazz classes are not taught in any particular style but rather focuses on giving the student a solid technique based on ballet, contemporary dance and hip-hop, which will enable the student to adopt to any style, choreography or routine, be it the distinctively lyrical Fosse, funky Madonna Grimes, or MTV. To reinforce this, a variety of music is used in the class exercises: pop, rock, hip-hop, techno, disco, Broadway, etc. On the most basic level, the jazz classes aim to imbue the student with the love and enjoyment of dance and movement, an appreciation of music, and pride in one's physique.
